A Relaxed & Friendly Community

Combined with the Sunset District, the Parkside neighborhood is located on the city's western edge along the southern portion of Sunset. True to its name, Parkside is surrounded by many fantastic parks and is bordered by Ocean Beach. People enjoy exploring the trails and activities surrounding Lake Merced, Pine Lake Park, the San Francisco Zoo, and Golden Gate Park.

Ocean Beach is one of San Francisco's most tightly guarded secrets. This stretch of beach is, in fact, one of the most iconic surf spots in Northern California. People enjoy watching pelicans glide and dive, ships and sailboats navigate the Golden Gate, and surfers of incredible athleticism ride the mighty swell from the shores of Ocean Beach.

Life on the city's western edge provides locals a reprieve from the bustling urban life and easy access to central San Francisco. Many homes in this residential neighborhood have stucco facades in various friendly colors.
This neighborhood has a friendly community of families, start-up founders, and professionals who take advantage of the location for work-life balance. There are excellent schools, farmer's markets, and delicious restaurants and bars like Outerlands, Hook Fish, White Cap, Damnfine, Sunset Cantina, and Palm City only moments away. Kickstart your day with coffee shops and bakeries, like Devil's Teeth, which are so good they have a cult following.
